I did some tests in Unity with the Move.me SDK , developing character animation controllers with the Playstation Move. It was just experimental but it was interesting to see what level of control could be achieved purely with the Move Controller.

It was also a useful exercise in learning more about Unity as an Editor.

First I made a couple of video to get an idea of what I wanted to achieve. I bullied my wife into holding the Move controller and then comped some CG over the top to get an idea of movement.

This one was to simulate using 2 Move controllers

So this is a capture of the finished prototype built in Unity. The character is controlled by tilting and rotating the Move Controller. In turn this triggers the looking around animations. The eyes also look in the direction the controller is rotated. The expressions are triggered with the buttons on the controller
